Hey Josh, When are you getting back from China?

I return August 6.
So the last two days have been brutally hectic. We had a performance at the People's Hall of Congress in Beijing, located in Tiananmen Square. It's basically like performing in D.C. After that, we had a human domino thing (where everyone sits down and falls back on each other, creating a human domino effect). We were arranged so that we looked like an Olympic logo from above. Lots of media were there and it was supposed to be a part of an attempt to break another world record, which China has been doing a lot of lately as a part of their efforts to promote the Olympics.
Anyhow, we're now officially affiliated by the Olympics, and we're hella important now. It's a fairly easy ride for the remaining five days of camp, and then I will spend a week and half visiting family here in China/HK.
Oh, and I had all the campers do a Dean Scream at the end of a performance at the human domino event. I dunno if it made it onto TV, but it was hilarious.

Yeah, I read your previous post about the upcoming media event and figured that communication with you would be quiet until that was done.
But hey! You get back on the 6th! Isn't it a coincidence that my birthday is the 7th? ;D
Clearly, this is a sign that the 7th must be glorious. Combing homecoming party for Josh, Birthday party for me. It must be Epic! If you have any requests for drinks/eats/events for that day, I would be happy to start drawing up plans for that. While Gaming would be an excellent addendum to that, it might be best to save it for the weekend. However, if everyone can be available on that Tuesday, I could certainly have something set up.

GOD DAMN IT, DYUMAN, YOU'RE BRINGING DOWN THE TEAM!  Okay... So, I guess we have to wait until the Dyu is done with finals. assuming you're occupied the whole day of your final, that means that we get going on the 10th (Friday). How do people feel about that? |

Thats fine, my final is 3-5 just like my class on thursday which is probably a little late by the time i get to your place. I'm free all day on friday

So earlier today, there was a camper sleeping on the bus, and because of my influence on the kids, this has been a rather dangerous thing to do if you're one of the campers that stand out more.
Anyhow, I found out that one of my students had the Strongbad album on his iPod, so we plugged speakers into his iPod, and then put them near her...
"TROGDOR!"
And she woke up screaming. It was hilarious.

Got Beatmania 11 Red. Mission accomplished in HK.. guess I will get to order the other Beatmanias online, but at least I saved a little on one game  . Will be home in a few days.. can't wait to get back into the mix. |
