Since we didn't have a thread for game times that are good and bad for most of us, here's one so we can post what times we have free, are busy, or when we wanna try and plan a special game like for Josh's return.
Noting days I'm going to be busy and unable to play. 7/28, the coming Saturday I can't play or rather I refuse too. I've already had at least 2 D&D characters die on me when we played on my birthday and I really don't wanna have to change hero system characters. I've really gotten attached to my current character. So yeah, rather not play on Saturday.
I was also just informed that I have to attend one of my cousins weddings on 8/11 which is the Saturday of the week that Josh gets back. So I'm going to be busy for most of the day, but I should be getting back around 8:30 pm if we want to have a late night game.
For both days feel free to go ahead and play without me. I don't wanna hold up the game, just letting you guys know that I'm gonna be unavailable on those days until the specified times.

Well, the wedding on the 11th shouldn't be a problem. We were planning on having a joint party for my birthday and Josh's homecoming on the 10th, if I read the Trip in China postings right.
And... Wow. Now that I think about it, this is the first time Jon has actually announced his birthday. Clearly, we all need to celebrate and buy him shit. So... I guess we could play on Friday instead, if people are available. Sunday's out for me, and I would like most of the week to have something available for you guys, so no days sooner than Friday are viable.
That said, generally assume that I won't be available for Sunday games - my Berkeley group will usually have my attention that day.
Other than that... we'll see once I actually have a job.

Yeah, I only announce my birthday because I'd rather not have my D&D trend carry over to Hero System. Characters are a lot harder to make in this game and I really like the way this one has turned out so far. And no we don't need to celebrate or buy me anything.
As far as gaming goes, I'm cool with Friday if that works for everyone else.
And that Tower Defense game is rather addictive. So the rest of the log won't be ready until tomorrow at the earliest. Been playing flash games since my internet came back up. ;D

I wanted to have a game ready for 7/27, but I put off setting it up for too long. Sorry to disappoint, but I've got nothing.  Granted, because I want to be able to bring Sicarius up to speed game time wise, this will help that out a bit... But regardless of that, I'll have to make up this missed game week to you guys somehow (besides free exp). |

Oh well. Sucks that we'll be missing out this week but at least it seems that you got Josh back up to speed. Any idea when our next session is going to be then? Hopefully sometime next week.  |

Aye, Next Saturday should be good for most people. So try to keep 8/3/07 free, guys. So... Birthday? What's goin' on today, dude?  We must do SOMETHING! Even if it means showing up on your doorstep unannounced. ;D So yeah. No escape from us. you shall be birthday'd! |

Indeed. We will be playing on 8/4/07 (tomorrow) at around 2:00pm.
This time around I would prefer not going too late into the evening. Would like to end around 8 or 9pm.

I had to cancel my trip to Gen Con Indy. My return date got fucked up, apparently, and changing that would be an additional bunch of money I don't want to spend... so I guess I have some credit with Southwest Airlines for a future trip. Hmm.
Anyhow, this means I'm free next weekend to play. W00t.

Since Josh will be available next Saturday (8/18/07), the tenative schedule is that we will game Saturday at 2:00pm. Let me know if a conflict comes up, and we'll try to plan around it.

Well, this coming weekend is actually gonna be up in the air. I'm gonna try to crack down hard on getting something lined up for my job hunting, which means that I really should put the game aside for this week. If I have time to whip something up, I'll let you guys know, but tentatively there will be no game this weekend.
However, since it requires much less planning on my part, I would humbly suggest we use this weekend to set up a LAN party. I've been itching to play some Mechwarrior 4 with people again, as well as play Unreal Tournament with people I know, rather than random mooks on the internet. If anyone wants to offer their place up as a staging area, That would be super, but Craig and my place would be an acceptable location as well.
Oh, and somebody call Alvin and see if he's available, too.

Gonna see if we can make the LAN a two-parter. If people are available on Friday evening and Saturday, we could set up Friday evening, and have a nice day long killing spree on Saturday.
As far as food is concerned... I say we do a potluck.
Since this thread is really for the RPG game times, I'm gonna start a new thread to schedule LANs and other group activities. See you on the next thread. XD
