As per the subject the title...
Evo @ Caesar's Palace this year, from July 9-11. Room rates are as follows:
$149 for one or two people $179 for three or four people
With 3-4 ppl it'll work out to be as much as Rio last year, which for Caesar's Palace is a pretty good deal. They're releasing the information awfully early this year, which is a good sign of organization on the higher end.
I really want to go this year, but as of right now, I do not know if I can. I gotta figure out my job and school situation first. At the same time, I'd like to gauge fellow interest level for this year. Registration for the tournament itself has not started (and it IS a different process from the hotel registration), since the games have not been decided. Registering by May 31 will save you $20.
I'm gonna play it smarter this year and just go one game unless people are really serious about practice. Playing SF4 even with nominal practice was a lot better than my GG or ST game, which was nonexistent. Now, if for some reason (this I doubt) people wanna go BB seriously, I'll go along with it. Otherwise, it might be prudent to devote some time to Vegas itself, as having only one game to compete in is a lot less strain on your schedule than 3.
Thoughts?

I'm all for going again this year but I'll hopefully have some sort of a job by then so I'm not sure if I'll be able too. I'll be sticking to 1-2 games depending on what is announced.

Not sure if I'll be available. Might be taking multiple classes over the summer, depending on whats offered (taking at least 1). Particularly since Evo is early again this year, no clue whether or not it'll be an option for me.
