I think it's been posted for a while now, but they announced the "Monk" class for Diablo 3. Trailers for gameplay and story. I must have missed the Witch Doctor gameplay trailer, but wow it looks mindless (more than D2 sorcs).
New Starcraft 2 battle report out too. I didn't realize they changed the "cliff" or height/elevation advantage.
Previously, you had a % chance to miss if you were on low ground attacking high ground (70% chance to miss, if I remember correctly). Now, you will always hit regardless of elevation, but you can't see (vision) high ground unless you have a flying unit (no homo) or scan or something. The lack of vision also carries over to targeting (which is the cause for concern).
For example...if I were to I drop 2 tanks on top of a cliff and starting attacking your natural expansion. And if you didn't have an observer or shuttle (or other flying unit), you COULD NOT kill my tanks on the high ground. No vision = no attacking. And no tanks or other units are no longer temporarily revealed when they attack. Furthermore, spells such as psi storm also cannot be used without vision, so you can't psi storm without a spotter on/above the cliff. Can't blink up cliffs either (stalkers, dragoon replacement unit).
Overall, I can already see so many problems with this change. Hell. Blizzard developers are abusing this shit (nuking from a cliff in the most recent battle report 4). If the devs can think of ways to abuse a mechanic, god only knows what pro gamers will do with it. (Btw. Blizzard needs to hire Korean map makers. Island expansions that require no mining out = abusive for Terran. Among many other things)
One major reason this is stupid is because the "medivac" is a replacement for the medic, but it's also a dropship (with a pretty damn good amount of hit points). What. The. Fuck. Do you really need to make nuke drops so damn good looking on paper? (pretty sure they'll end up being really good)

Look at the cast in this movie, and tell me it doesn't contain an insane amount of awesome (no, it's not the Expendables): www.imdb.com/title/tt1386588/

Capcom announcing a Final Fight HD Release, with online co-op... using GGPO! Hella good news for fighters and Capcom in general, since the GGPO code is virtually lag free.

I heard there is a Helms Deep map for L4D1. Basically its Survival mode in a castle with walls and tons of supplies, 7 mins in the wall goes kaboom and you have to pull back.

Rock Band has an offer on their official site for the Rock Band 2 Software, plus hardware, for $79. Dunno how relevant this is for everyone, but it's a hell of a deal, and I figure I'd link to it: www.rockband79.com/?c=rbsite300
