Huh. Thought I had already told everyone about that. Guess I missed you, Dyuman. I am eagerly awaiting this one, if for nothing else than to be horribly disappointed when it flops. The Champions world is pretty diverse, so there's lots of opportunity for greatness here (assuming you like comic book superhero storylines), but there's also a lot of opportunity to muck shit up, and of course the stupidity factor of the standard MMORPG player base not being in tune with the excessive amount of calculation and thinking ahead involved in HERO System mechanics. Overall, I'm betting it will be a good system, but I get the feeling this one's going to get killed by lack of player base (due to the complicated system base).

Yay birthdays.
I'm now the proud owner of Valkyrie Profile: Lenneth and Final Fantasy Tactics: The Lion War on PSP, and Final Fantasy 4 on DS. Man... That's a LOT of RPG time...
EDIT: These purchases were also the motivation to finally get a damn memory stick for my PSP. Whee...

Grats, and Happy B-day. If no one has gotten together yet, we should do it when you get back from LA or some other opportune time.

Nifty info:
FF13 Demo = on blue ray version of FFAC remake that I mentioned before.
and other stuff i am forgetting from being tired from the drive.
Stuff I was forgetting:
Warhammer Online made a few changes. Instead of a capital city that is raidable for each faction (6 total), they dropped it down to two capital cities for each faction.
Human and Chaos are the only ones that made the cut (good since they were the ones that took up the most work).
So what happens know is that each zone is a battle field with tiers still up to T4. At T4, you have two fortresses for each side and if you get enough points you raid the enemy fortress and take it over.
There are still 6 fortresses, so if you win on 2/3 battlefields, you get 4/6 fortresses, and then can raid the capital city.
When you raid the city, you have to kill enemies/do public quests to hit a certain point total. Hit the point total and the enemy is pushed out of the city limits (whether it be defender or offender), and if the offense won, they get to sack the city to their delights for a set amount of time and take on top instance bosses.
I like the team play they're setting up with all of this. I'll actually care about working with my realm unlike current state of WoW.

Warhammer so far is fun. There are a few "mythic" feeling stuff, but overall I like how it is.
Public quests work out really really well. You complete it and get "rep" equivalent, and xp, and get to roll for items based on how much you contributed to the quset overall. I got an epic low level chest piece. PvP is a lot faster in terms of per game time. Kinda wish they would increase run speed by a 5% or so.
As with mythic they have a "Flee" ability that takes away all your other abilities while you're running away.

After more reading on the DNDInsider thing, it seems that they are making a free version of the table top in the game, but its 2d only. 3d version is subscribers only.

Random thought of mine, so I'll put it as spam... it's not dumb enough to be a mental abortion, though.
Ever notice how much freaking sodium we consume? There's an appalling amount of sodium in all of our food because they need to retain taste without fat. As of this moment, I've consumed probably 150% of my daily recommended intake, after two meals. That's kinda ridiculous. Granted, they are meals that I've had to eat out (I bought my food at the supermarket, so I had an idea of what I've consumed).
I'm gonna do an extra P90X workout today to sweat this shit back out.
