Video Capture

Just wondering if any of you guys know this off the top of your head, or can help me with this:

I'm thinking of doing some combo videos for Guilty Gear again, but I have a lot of footage still sitting unused in VHS format. I'd like to get this digitized and put onto my laptop, so I was wondering if there's a good external capture device I can use to get stuff from my VHS into some data files.

You can always use my comp Josh, I still have inputs for video on my Viao.

Yeah, but it'd be nice if I could simply drop new clips onto my computer instead of waiting to do it.

Well the video capture that I know sucks are DVMagic or something along those lines.

Pinnacle although pricey seems to be the good stuff. I bought 3 dvmagic units from fry's and had to keep on returning them for not working. I just got my viao with internal cards and stuff afterwards since I was so sick and tired.
