There are other things to do with a laptop than just play infantry. That said your problem is computer specific and is unlikely to reoccur on a different computer.

Yes there are. Such as mech warrior, UT, and starcraft to name our usual picks.

Dumb things to do to annoy the entire zone:
1. Form a team of one Engineer to make a fuckton of turrets below the G3ish area (I think those are the coords.. it's the center of all rapage. Ya'll know what I mean. Then have 4 PA snipers hide inside the turrets to spam shots into crowds. None of this aiming shit. Just spam. Hilarity ensues.
2. With this same party, but Engineer changes to Commando, run rampant with Pulsar kills. I think this would be fun. If Engineer wants to be bait (Chip = Berkeley Engineer + Good Bait), I think they can use Electron Beamer to drain people's energy to make them squishy for the Pulsar kill.
3. Form a team of one Engineer and four people who can use Mortars. I guarantee you all that it will take a mere thirty seconds before the entire zone comes to kill us. Then we Gauss lame them.
4. Now work with me on this one:
Let's say we are at a T intersection, and we plant mines...
EDIT - Took out diagram because it was fubar We wait for someone to run perpendicular to us, and we throw repulsor grenades/cyclotron to see if we can push them into the minefield.
And also, if none of you have done this yet, go wall lame someone. It's incredibly satisfying. If you have some sort of close range splash weapon like Nova Pulse or Powerfist and happen to see someone you think is damaged, but standing near a wall between you and him, just hit the wall and see if you can splash him to death. You could prolly do the same with RPG or LAW.

Actually..I'm building another heavy weapons so I can make a coMANdo, its like at 3k xp or something - name is DeadOnTime for obvious reasons. Actually..better than wall laming people, I've shot a rock and killed someone pillar kiting me - go incendiery rocket blast radius. In other words..he was on the other side of the rock and still went splat, see bad picture.
x (boom)0 f = dead failure me rock
Btw..incendiery rockets are better than regular rpg rockets for 2 reasons: 1) Do almost twice the energy damage on outer. 2) Blast radius of wtf lawl.

Haha. I'm prolly making my Commando on SushiSukiyakiBanzai, just because it's a HvyWeapons and easier to make lots of xp and money than building my Infantry up from scratch. GC laming is easier than CAW laming.

I'll be the first to admit that I'm probably the pranciest Jump Trooper in the game right now. Hit-and-run with DPB's is just too easy. But I can't help but laugh at this situation. So, I'm fighting two hvy's who are on the same team. One has an MML, the other an RR. We're in the forested area near all the sandbag placements, so vision is constantly cutting out, and shit. So, I'm hovering circles around the two of them, occasionally hitting a few times with my DPB's, and they aren't touching me (except for the occasional MML single hit). Finally, the MML guy goes on the chat line:
"Aeth stop being such a pansy"
So... I'm certain he means "Stop flying circles around us and fight straight up so I don't have to aim my MML's." Yeah... I'll get right on that when it's 2 hvy's vs one jt. That's smrt.
Anyways, I'm pretty sure Azn_Zealot has me on his "kill on sight" list now, because while I never kill him, I almost always gank at least one of his kills every 10 minutes. Whenever he sees me now, he turns and starts blasting at me with whatever he has active. Also makes me laugh and laugh, because he almost always finds me on my pack, so I just run away (or scare him into teleporting if he's low).
I'm intent on building my exp up on Aethrion right now, but eventually, I need to make a Commando named "Monkey Shank."
EDIT: Also.... DPB Shoots over a lot of terrain like rocks and sandbag bunkers. I cheat... Like a Fiend. XD

I was wondering what prompted that comment on the general chat, since I was on at the time. I just laughed because I figured it had to be some annoying droppack blaster antics.
A guy called me a lucky newb when we got into one of those really gay "Strafe, stand still, shoot" fights with GC, but I started using Carbine to throw off the rhythm of the fight. I was kicking his ass anyway, though some guy came in on the side to vulch him (and who wouldn't?). Anyhow, he gets distracted and I hit him with three Carbine shots in a row for the kill. He goes on the general chat with the lucky newb remark, and I reply:
Sure, says the guy who is also just stands around with a GC
And he shuts up. The guy's name is like Newb Here, with some stupid monkeyass symbols around the name. If you see him, he literally has nothing but a GC. Though I do the same with new characters, I don't call others newbs when they kill me.
Last night me, Brian, and Jon were being true n00bs... two GC'ers and a medic. Hella ghey. We de-evolved from GC laming to dropping Shrap Packs on the wall where people were near to kill them. I even ran into some turrets to drop the pack onto turrets for an instant explosion and got a double kill. Brian prolly Gaussed half the zone to death, and Jon healed for whoa. Good times.
Good tagline from this as well:
wtf gauss did 40 hp to me?
From a guy who blew all his energy trying to Nova Pulse for a kill. Really, what do we expect? Anyhow, any Infantry LAN tonight? This game is getting fun for me again, especially when everyone gets so mad over nothing.

Btw, when dealing with those 1337 players who whore their bounty (AzNZealot is one of them... I wonder if that's Ken, cause that might make sense), if you can land a few shots to drain their power and then hit them with some paralyzing attack like Stunner, they'll burn a Beacon and run, 100% of the time. I've gotten them to piss off 1v1's by just doing that. I'm not sure if they have some sort of trigger that activates on it as well, since every time I land a Stunner hit, they instantly disappear... without fail.

Wow, Sony actually decided to put vehicles back in the game. Just logged in to check to see if anyone was on and I saw some people driving around in an apc. Looks like there are only 2 types of vehicles atm. The apc and a civilian hoverbike. Didn't pilot either, but from what I saw the APC is sort of like a bunker that moves at the speed of flight pack. It has that red energy shotgun like weapon and this hella gay repulsor ala CTF. The hoverbike looked like a jump pack on crack. I watched some guy do nothing but drive by and jump. Sony also added unilenium to the map so energizer kit isn't worthless.
Not sure how I feel about the change. The apc seems rather lame with it's repulsor weapon, but it does look like a lot of fun if we can snag one for our next lan.

Ugh, the turrets used to be bad enough. Vehicles in WZA are a little misplaced I think. They had another zone for heavy tank shit.
