Mentioned it to a few folks in person, thought I'd post up for folks like Alvin.
So warhammer online pre-order comes with free beta test. I went and got 3 (me, chip, craig if we can get it to run on his mac or i can loan him my comp).
They are screwing up the pre-orders though, the beta key is supposed to only be for collectors edition, but they giving it out to everyone who pre-orders period (ie: cheaper).
With pre-order you can always get full refund if you don't like it after beta, or stay in the game and get the following for live:
1. Early head start on live before anyone else can log on (prolly 48-24 hours to save the servers from dying)
2. Rittenbach's portable Camp: Item to "rest your soul and heal between combat" (prolly special "food" in terms of looks and not having to buy)
3. Sentinels Amber Band: Enhance stats and increase your chance of doing additional damage. (prolly just minor and useful at lower levels only).
Would be nice if anyone else would like to try it out with us, 5 bucks down, and get refund after if you hate it. I got mine from Gamestop across the street from westgate (in the other complex).
