Remember the ten-ten-ten-ten retard who's "teaching" English to a class of comedians who can't laugh? Apparently, that "skit" was a part of a much larger, sinister, and sadistic game where four comedians go to a school for 24 hours and get hit with the bamboo sword whenever they laugh, not just in that class. The link is the first part of that hell, and it's probably one of the funniest things I've ever witnessed. "Interesting Spam" hardly does this justice. The sheer sadism of this game is unbelievable, and because we're mainly malicious people who can appreciate the finer points of this, I absolutely have to share this delight with you all. There's also another series of this where they visit a hot springs inn for 24 hours and go through similar torture as well. It does not grow old. Japanese reality TV > American reality TV. |

Interesting how they decide WHO participates in the batsu game. I thought it was just they take turns or something, but apparently they have some sort of competition or play malicious game and the losers have to do the batsu game. For example, the hot spring? batsu game they all had to pick a piece of sushi. Some of the sushi had a crap ton of wasabi in it, the others were just regular unagi, maguro, etc. The first 3 to pick one with hella wasabi had to participate in the batsu game.

Yeah, when I watched the Pie Hell thing, they alluded to Matsumoto losing to an implied prop bet. I would never make a bet with these people. Ever.
Hamada enjoys batsu games way too much.

Yea, I saw the dont laugh school intro. Basically on that one they had electrified strays that they drew out of something and got a shock if they picked wrong. Hamada was the one that got spared.

Hamada and Matsumoto were there from the beginning (1989) and the batsu games were rare back then with only a few per year. Mastumoto looks weird with hair, hamada looks the exact same

Wikipedia has a surprisingly huge section on Gaki, as well as the history between Hamada and Matsumoto.
