....... ......... .......... That. Was. Awesome.
Now I want to learn to play both Jam and Potemkin again, dammit. >_<;
Of course, the only thing I could think of at the end of round 2 was... why did Jam super?

You'll see mid-tier Japanese players wakeup super every now and then too. They're not perfect. Even Ogawa wakeup supers. He, however, hits people with them.

youtube.com/watch?v=BfGuUAmpJhEyoutube.com/watch?v=CC8YenIMD38Since there's a little interest in Baiken right now... there's a really neat combo in one of the videos: Claw, 6hs, IAD j.s, j.p, j.k, Claw, j.p, j.s, j.p, j.d, air dash, j.p, j.s, j.d Lots of ground gatlings into a jump cancelled j.d, frc into another j.s, j.d for quick damage. Her dust combo is 5d, j.s, j.hs, j.s, j.d, air dash, j.s, j.d, pause, j.d. I think the way this is done is that the stick is held up during the j.s and j.hs, then up is released during that chase jump for j.s, j.d. I don't know how to fully explain the mechanics of this, but I think it breaks her out of chase jump mode, so you recover and can get the air dash sooner after the first repetition of j.s, j.d (did that make any sense!?!?). Also an extra rep of dust loop in the corner, <launch> j.p, j.d, air dash j.s, j.d, you can relaunch with frc'ing the last j.d into air tatami. I thought this was interesting because I did this in the combo video for X2, where it seemed a lot harder to do. The relaunch looks really good, though, so I'll probably experiment with some methods. In short, I'm pretty sure her old stuff exists, but it's less tatami or even yousanzen reliant... forget sweep tatami... 2k, c.s tatami is the new shit.

Apparently after the G3 23 on 23 event, a bunch of matches were played. Search for "ggxxac g3" on youtube.

Yeah, they had exhibition matches. That's how you even see Dogura playing during the event, for instance... his matches were all exhibition because his team won before getting to him at all.
It looks like using Baku counter (force break) is the new thing... just do the counter, but no seal.. just follow with a combo instead. Lots of hit stun on ground and float in the air.

I don't usually watch combo videos.... but... the force is strong in this one. Couple really neat combos if you have the patience to sit through it. www.youtube.com/watch?v=g-JdPEUVsbc

They may be playing GGAC more often at Keystone in the near future.. I'm keeping my eyes open for a scene to develop there.

Not bothering to post the links, but go to Youtube and search for the GGAC a-cho videos and watch their same character 3v3 matches. Madness!
