They should do a regular zombie mode of gameplay to allow for the 12 man mode, and rotate around or something.

They made this announcement on time. The leaked achievements were a big sign, but the confirmation is good. While there's no game balance "remix", I really like how they address big issues: net code, port code, and music. The net code, I'm lukewarm about, honestly, since HD Remix's net code is meh. Basing it off the DC port is the absolute correct step to take, as this aspect makes or breaks this release. Finally, custom soundtracks for MvC2 is a big nod to the hardcore fanbase who hated the music, loved the game, and had to mess with the game itself to allow for custom music. Having it as an in-game feature is awesome.
Guess it's time to practice up a little Marvel to be able to play casually.

Starcraft release date announced for end of year (2009) by Blizzard CEO. Interestingly gamestop has announced a release date of 6/2/09...fail. The game's single player will be broken up into 3 releases, one for each race. Not sure how much I actually care about this...but it still doesn't quite sit that well with me.

Yeah, I heard about that single player shit. I guess Blizzard and Square Enix have caught on to using their big name franchises to make their new releases split.

The release is scheduled to happen in 2 days? They have a countdown timer on their homepage which I assume is how long until they're allowed to release the game. Hopefully this release includes the IS and Clan packs that we're missing, but even if it doesn't they're releasing MechPak4 with the game. It also sounds like they've done some work in the multiplayer so that sounds promising. Also included is something called Assault Tech 1. AT1 is a community built rehash of Mech 2. It's still in beta but the initial release looks pretty cool.

So...since I haven't really been around. Just wondering if we were planning to get or skip left 4 dead 2. It's slated to come out in November 17.
The mechwarrior re-release was supposed to include all current MW4 content, including the mek packs. Which is why the release date of the new Mech warrior was unannounced. They're sinking most of their, lol, manpower into the MW4 release.

Most of us are planning on getting L4D 2. Not sure if we're gonna buy it on release day though. We'll keep you updated.

Downloaded the L4D2 Demo today. It's fun. Interesting things of note. They give you the first two chapters of the Parish Campaign to play through with full multiplayer so we could get together and LAN this shit now if we wanted too.
Also the Steam store has a 10% discount on L4D2 if you pre-order the game in addition to the free unlockable swag or whatever you get. Not sure when this offer expires, but since we're all gonna get the game anyways I'm buying my copy now.
